Flight Simulator X

It’s finally here! Flight Simulator X has been years in the making and now we can actually play a demo version for the first time. The full version won’t be out until Christmas, so start downloading!

Choose from three unique missions that will test your aviation skills and allow you to explore the Caribbean islands. Fly the Beaver float plane or fly a mission in an ultralight glider where you must drop sacks of flour.

This final release version of the demo represents the quality of the full version, and takes place in the Caribbean island of St. Maarten, featuring two airports and two missions, without the tutorial that was previously included in the first demo.DEMO REVIEW
Like a thief in the night, Microsoft has released the demo for the much anticipated Flight Simulator X. The demo provides a taste of what is to come, and the first word on the menu is � BETTER! Better graphics, especially the water; better trees and more of them; better and bigger terrain elevation.

The second word is EASIER! Does your head throb at the mere mention of complex start-up procedures? Do the words �hardcore simulation� turn you off? Now you can find out why this series has been around longer than many gamers have been alive and have fun doing it!

The demo allows you to try out two new missions: A beginner mission lets you bomb an aircraft carrier with flour! And you get to do it in an Air Creation Trike Ultralight. An intermediate mission involves a very windy but relatively easy landing in a Bombardier Jet. In this mission you can check out the awesome new �Landing Gear View�. Not interested in either mission? Then try �free flight� in any of four available aircraft over the beautiful islands and blue water of the Caribbean.
